1. How do I connect the tag to my phone?
It takes less than three minutes. Press and hold the small button on the side of the band or bag tag until you hear a beep, that means it is on. Then turn on Bluetooth on your phone, open Apple Find My on iPhone or Google Find Hub on Android, tap Add Item and follow the prompts. That is it. If you get stuck, call us on 0769 677 246.
2. Why does Bluetooth need to be on?
Terra GO does not use a SIM card or WiFi. It works by sending out a small Bluetooth signal that nearby phones pick up and quietly pass your child's location back to your phone's Google Find Hub or Find My.
3. How often will I get updates?
If your child's school is on Terra GO, you will receive direct WhatsApp or SMS updates at key moments when they board the bus, when they arrive at school, and if there are any delays or route changes on the way.
4. How long is the battery life?
The Terra Go band and bag tag are designed to last up to one year on a single battery cycle.
5. I run a school, can this be adopted for all my students?
Absolutely. Terra Go is built to work at scale for schools of all sizes. To get started, nominate your school on our website at www.goterrago.com and our team will take it up from there.
6. Can I use the band or tag outside of school hours?
Absolutely. The band or tag works anytime on playdates, errands, or travel. As long as your Bluetooth is on and the phones nearby have their Bluetooth on, you can open Find My or Find Hub and see where your child is.
